“Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.” – Matthew 8:26

Life’s storms often come without warning—sickness, loss, job changes, relational tension. In the middle of chaos, it’s easy to forget that Jesus is in the boat with us. He may not always calm the storm right away, but He always calms us if we look to Him.
Faith isn’t proven when waters are still, but when the winds rage and we choose to believe anyway. The storm doesn’t mean God has left; it means He’s about to reveal His power. Be encouraged, if the master had faith to sleep through the storm His faith ensures our breakthrough to the other side.
Prayer:
Jesus, I feel tossed by waves beyond my control. I invite You into the center of my storm. Speak peace to my heart and remind me that You’re near. Help me to trust You when the skies are dark and my strength is small. Anchor me in Your presence. Amen.
Reflection:
🌊 Where is Jesus in your storm?
