A Prayer for Living Connected to God and Others | Stronger Together

We’ve talked about how heavy life can get and how God provides hope in the middle of the storm. But there’s something we can’t build on our own, no matter how hard we try: strong faith. It simply isn’t formed in isolation.

In today’s prayer, Valarie reminds us that faith is at the center of everything — we’re saved by faith, healed by faith, and our relationship with God is built on faith and trust. Yet faith grows through relationship. God uses His presence, His Word, and His people to strengthen us, and as we encourage one another, pray together, and stay connected to Christ, we become the people He created us to be. Anchored in Hebrews 10:24-25 — “let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, encouraging one another” — she offers a gentle reminder that life isn’t a marathon: take it slow, remember to breathe, and know we’re better together. She prays with gratitude for the God who never leaves or forsakes us, asking Him to teach us to depend on Him, to value the community He’s placed around us, and to let our prayers become a source of hope for those nearby.

Have you ever felt like you’re carrying a weight that never seems to get lighter? Join Valarie for a special online webinar — When Life Feels Heavy: Finding Peace, Hope, and Strength Through Prayer — on Sunday, August 16th at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Together we’ll discover how prayer can become more than a response to life’s challenges — a lifestyle that anchors your heart, renews your hope, and gives you strength to face each day with confidence. You’ll learn how to find peace even when circumstances haven’t changed, overcome the obstacles that keep you from consistent prayer, and experience how prayer renews your perspective. Seats are limited and registration closes once they’re filled, so reserve yours by searching “When Life Feels Heavy: Finding Peace, Hope, and Strength Through Prayer” on Eventbrite.

If this week’s prayer encouraged you, we’d love to keep growing with you in the Inner Chamber — our prayer community where believers gather to go deeper in God’s Word, strengthen their prayer lives, and encourage one another in Christ. Visit divine515.com to learn more, and until next time, keep meeting God at the throne.
