Valarie reminds us that God’s direction often unfolds one step at a time, and that’s a mercy. If He showed us the whole map, we might stumble, or turn and head the other way. When we’re listening only for a complete answer, we can overlook the guidance He’s already given through Scripture, wisdom, prayer, and faithful obedience. Direction often becomes clearer while we’re walking. Today’s prayer asks God to guide our steps, keep us from rushing ahead because we want all the answers, and give us faith to follow what He has already made clear.
