All month long, you’ve been opening your hands. Releasing hurt, regret, disappointment, control, unanswered questions, closed doors, and old seasons. And now you may be wondering, what comes after letting go?

As the Letting Go series comes to a close, Valarie reminds us that letting go was never the final destination. Freedom was. The goal wasn’t just to empty our hands but to make room to walk forward with God. We can spend so much time focused on what we’re releasing that we miss what He has been developing in its place: peace, wisdom, trust, discernment, courage, and a deeper dependence on Him. Sometimes what God does within us matters as much as what He eventually does around us. We may still have unanswered questions, and that’s okay. Today’s prayer thanks God for meeting us throughout this month and asks Him to help us leave behind what He has asked us to release, carry forward what He has built in us, and walk ahead with open hands and the courage to take the next step.
