You keep praying for the door to open. But if it opened today, would you be ready to walk through it?
Valarie reminds us that trusting God doesn’t mean we stop preparing. Sometimes we pray for the next opportunity while neglecting what He has placed in front of us today. Preparation can feel insignificant when nothing seems to be happening, but quiet preparation often comes before visible opportunity. David had private seasons long before his public ones. Maybe you need to learn to save, rest, study, heal, organize, or practice. Preparation doesn’t force God’s timing. It makes us faithful with ours, and He is right there with us in the middle of it. Today’s prayer asks God to prepare us for what He is preparing for us, show us where we need to grow or heal, and help us use this season wisely without rushing His timing.
Scripture anchor: Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
