You already know what you need to do. Make the call, start the application, have the conversation, set the boundary. You’ve prayed about it again and again, and you’re still standing in the same place.
Valarie names something many of us feel but rarely admit: sometimes we want certainty before obedience. Faith often works in the opposite order. God gives enough light for the next step, and we discover more as we move. Prayer helps us tell the difference between waiting on God and delaying because we’re afraid. If He has already shown us what to do, we may not need another sign. We may just need courage. Today’s prayer asks God for the courage to act on what He has already shown us, to keep fear from disguising itself as waiting, and to guide our steps through His Word as we move forward in faith.
Scripture anchor: Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
