The opportunity looks right. The timing looks right. You’re ready, or at least you think you are. And still, the only answer you seem to be getting from God is “wait.”
Valarie reminds us that waiting can feel a lot like rejection, but a delay isn’t always a denial. Sometimes God is preparing our circumstances, sometimes He’s preparing other people, and sometimes He’s preparing us. Instead of fighting the waiting season, she invites us to welcome God into it and ask what He wants us to see or develop while we wait. Today’s prayer asks for patience and endurance, for help not to confuse delay with rejection, and for God to use this season to strengthen our faith and prepare our hearts for what comes next.
Scripture anchor: Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”

Instead of asking only when God will change this, ask what He is developing in you while you wait. Don’t waste the waiting. Let Him use it.
