Why Do I Struggle to Trust God’s Timing? | Walking in Spiritual Discernment

We live in a world of instant answers and immediate results — and if we’re honest, we’d not only want everything now, we’d take the easy route to get it. But waiting can feel frustrating, especially when everyone else’s life seems to be moving forward while ours stands still.

In today’s prayer, Valarie draws us into Ecclesiastes 3:11 — that God has made everything beautiful in its time. She reminds us that God’s ways and thoughts are not our own; He’s far more concerned with our character and the process than with rushing us to the answer, and He uses the highs and lows of life to shape us. And there’s comfort in this: He’s the One who takes the tears we cry and waters our dreams, the One who turns everything into a masterpiece. He makes everything beautiful because He is love, and His love is beautiful. She prays for grace to trust His pace, to believe that waiting is not wasted time when He’s involved, and to have confidence He’s working even when we cannot see it.
